With three different buildings in the South End and a camp in New Hampshire, United South End Settlements (USES) houses numerous community programs.  From dancing seniors to playing children, the programs of USES are diverse in participants and content.  But not all activity can be pinpointed to programming.  The men who play checkers come in every day in the afternoon and challenge each other with friendly banter.  United South End Settlements fosters community in the South End/Lower Roxbury and beyond.
