Where All Can Thrive

The mission of USES is “to promote the stabilization and well-being of individuals and groups at risk within the community, nurture personal growth and development, build a sense of community, and foster an environment where all can thrive.”  This is lived out daily by the staff who work tirelessly for the people that the programs of USES serve.

USES is easily the most diverse place—in every sense of the word—that I have ever been involved with.  I see USES as a place where people of diverse backgrounds, skills, and objectives work towards a common goal.  I want to highlight the personal achievements that add up to cross-organizational pride.  From senior management to volunteer staff, I want to focus on the people who are respected for the work they do by their colleagues and by community members with whom they interact.
