In your time at USES, what has been your greatest personal achievement?

To work with the families of USES, and the staff is like family. 

On a day-to-day basis, who or what inspires you?

Definitely the children.  They are my inspiration.  Coming to work and seeing the faces of the children and when they draw me a picture—like today they made a heart from me—that’s my inspiration.  Also, Mary, the manager of the program; she is so soft-spoken and fair.

What is USES to you?

It’s more than a workplace, we know each other, we have each other’s phone numbers, and I know I can count on any of my co-workers.  They are more than co-workers, they’re like second family to me.
